Words of comfort about Gooby

Sorry about Goobz.  It'll be tough but maybe you can find a new canine

buddy in the future.

(Nathan Chan)

Sorry to hear about Gooby.  I remember you telling me before about how much he meant to you and your family :)

Thanks for sharing the pics.  He sure didn't look his age.  I hope we look as good when we get older.

Hope you Mom folks are doing alright.

(Daniel Inoshita)

Dude... I'm sorry.  I know how devastating losing a pet can be.  It's

totally like losing a member of the family.

(Reuben Antman)

Messagedude that sux.  sorry to hear about gooby, he will be missed.  hope

your Mom is doing okay.

(Alan Curameng)

So sorry to hear about your dog.  Hang in there and just remember all the joy and fun Gooby has brought to you and your family. I don't think I ever got over the death of my dog even though he has been gone for over 6 years

(Anne Nguyen)

Hi Paul - so very sorry. My thoughts are with you. I can certainly empathize.

(Christi Wilkerson)

I'm so sorry to hear about gooby.  I know you loved him very much.  My heart

goes out to you.

(Terri Hernandez)

From the pictures, Goobz sounds like an awesome dog.  I would have wish

for him to meet my Saydi, a 74 lbs yellow lab mixed with Sheppard.  I am sorry to hear about Goobz but I think as dog gets older, it best that we let them go.  I wish that they live as long as we do, but c'est la vie mon ami.  Take care!

(Doan Troung)

So sorry to hear about your buddy.

Take Care

I am so sad to hear about Gooby.  I know how much he meant to you and your family.  I agree that he was a great and incredible part of the family.  I'll always remember and cherish his energy, spunk, loyalty and friendliness (even when he kept sitting on my foot).  He was most certainly the coolest dog.

Your tribute to him speaks volumes not only about him, but also about how great a person that you are, Paul.  I know for sure that as much as you feel you were blessed by having Gooby, that he was blessed even more to have you.

I just want you to know that I realize this is a tremendous loss for you, and that your and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I think it is a testament/sign of people as to there soul and shear goodness as to how they relate to animals.  although not a tree hugger, I am big on recycling, although not a avid member a the faction that is greatly against fur, I am a fan of SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)...

I am awaiting my next steps, ie. probable matrimony and new larger house both enabling me to have pets, (1) dog, German SHepard and (2) cats, (Siamese and a tabby).  A recent trade show in Banff, Alberta, CA enabled us, Bee & me, to go dog sledding where the best part was interfacing/driving the dogs, (50% Huskie/50% Greyhound), who love to run and pull and actually get upset when you make then stop AND do not jump off and help push when on an incline, (Yes, they look back and check, virtually simultaneously).

perhaps think of the good times and all that you afforded your pet as they afforded you...

just my ramblings....

Sorry to hear about Gooby bro

(Bob Hopkins)

I do want you to know that I'm very sorry and sadden by the news. Gooby was a wonderful dog and I remember him very well.  All the times that we would come over to eat, watch movies and just hang-out he was always there like you said and had the heart of a lion.  I hope you will recover with the thought that he is indeed in a better place where dogs are all friends and live to play, eat and think of their wonderful owners.  I'm sure he's very happy and very thankful to of had a guardian like yourself, your mother and grandmother.  I wish you all the best my friend.

I am SO sorry to hear about Gooby. I loved him too, though I know not nearly as much as you. It is a wonderful Web site you have dedicated to him, but I am afraid it's going to be a while before I look at the photo album—the eulogy was too difficult as it was.

I love you, and please pass my love on to Melanie--and next time you see your mom, give her a big hug and kiss from me. I know she'll miss having the delightful Gooby as her close companion.

(Michelle Petz)

I am really sorry to hear this.  Gooby was a terrific dog and pal.

Iıll never forget the story about how your cousin Roger was walking Gooby (many years ago).  In Rogerıs words, ³Keep in mind, Gooby doesnıt look like the manliest dog.  A bunch of kids went by in a car and made some sissy remark to him. Roger proceeded to chase after those kids and beat the crap of them. It was worth it to stick up for Gooby. :-)

You have all those great photos and great memories.  Thanks for sharing them.

(Ken Radtke)

Oh Paul - my heart aches for you. Losing a loved one is so hard. Gooby was such a sweetie, I always enjoyed having him around when you brought him in to Liquid. I'm glad you had him in your life for as long as you did and have so many fabulous memories of him - I loved reading them your site.

My Mom & I believe that when you pass, you are greeted by all those you love, who got to the next life before you. So he'll be having a grand time now and will be there waiting when it's time to greet you. Until then, he'll live on in many happy memories.

I've been meaning to pick up the phone for ages, but life's no less crazy. Anyway I will give you a call in a couple of days. I'm sniffling too much at the moment!

I wish there were better words for you, but I hope knowing I'm one of many with you and Gooby in our thoughts, is some small comfort. Love to you & Melanie...

(Jo Webb)

I am very sorry about the loss of your friend.   I have been in your situation and I know how painful it can be.  Please let me know if there is anything that Eric and/or I can do for you.

(Samantha Matson)

I know it is very hard to lose something special in your life especially if you know that all he showed you was pure love and nothing else.  My sincere sympathy to you, Paul.

(Myra Cruz)

Wish I could've met him, as he sounds like one heck of a sweet pup.  My heart felt sympathy go to you and your family, and it's the first time

I've ever looked for a guest book on a website.

(Pete Simpson)

I am so sorry to hear about Gooby.  I know how hard it is to lose a pet that you love dearly and is truly a member of the family.  It was a hard time in our family to see our little Madchen pass away.  I still think of her all the time and miss her but find comfort in knowing that she is at peace.  My thoughts and prayers are with you.

(Kim Capobres)

I am so sorry.  It is amazing how much love one can receive from someone like Gooby.  (Your good boy.)

Thank you for sharing the pictures.

(Roger Bothwell)

Thanks for sharing your memories with me.  Your love for Gooby shows in your description of him and the photos. Although I didn't get to meet him or see him action, I wish I had. He seems so kind, gentle and photogenic :)  I especially liked the one of the three of you on your wedding day.

You are blessed to have all those memories. And I am sure the love you shared kept him going all those years as well.

Hang in there..

(Lorraine Hynes)

RIP to the Goobster.

119 Human years that's a long happy life !
